Anti-discriminatory practice is an action taken to prevent discrimination on the ground of an individual class, race, gender or even disability etc. In health and social care professions it is important for an individual to be promoting practice in the workplace, this is so that the individuals can overcome prejudice and avoid treating an individual differently because of their class, race, gender etc. convention, legislation and regulation are three main national initiative. These are important laws in society and towards health and social care settings. This is to ensure that individual is treated equally. If an individual fails to do any of the policies and procedures then they could be going up against court.
